Free Stuff

I just going to list the free stuff I got this week from work, since i got so much of it :), and that will make up for the past 3 days lol.

Wednesday: We got free grinders at lunch with chips and soda, free tickets to the rock cats game with a pre-game picnic. where they was hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, water melon. Usually picnic stuff it was all pretty crappy though. Then with every game ticket you got to free beer vouchers. But only 7 out of the 29 people showed up so i went up to the place and was like listen I don;t think anyone else is coming can i get the rest of the vouchers and they were like well we are only to give the rest to George (the company owner who did show up eventually) but i got them to be like wait a few innings and you can come back and get them. but instead they showed up at the bottom of the 4th and just handed them to me so i got 28 drink vouchers for 16 oz. drinks :) if course i already had a few down by then and i distributed them among us but i still came home with 17 so i need to go to a game again since they are good for the whole year :)

Thursday: Had free GOOD pizza at lunch, then had softball after so had some free beer.

Friday: company picnic, it was Mexican pretty good but could have been better. I bet Ben now makes some better Mexican food. But during the picnics they have raffle were they give away 4 $25 gas cards you put (your business card in a hat). And I won one of those :) Then it was Ed's last day at work :( so we all went out to rookies after work and they paid with the company card... lets just say I don;t want to know what the tab was lol.

Today played little baseball then went up to the lake with Casey and the family and Charles and Michele. Went tubbing and water skiing and played boacci and wiffleball going to be sore tomorrow. Casey left to go to see "Get Smart" with Kasey. It needs to be noted as well when my mom found out he was going out with someone named Kasey she made fun of him a lot it was really funny lol.

finally today i did a full water change of the fish tank since it is so bad but i was moving and didn't have a table yet so all the fish have been in the 10 gallon tank for 12 hours now i am just about to go set up the 30 gallon doesn't look like anything died :) below is a picture of them in the 10 gallon tank. I put in a lot of bubble makers :)

Mikey's Big Day

Since Ed my main mentor at work is leaving us for the Boston office on Friday I got my first project today. It is in New Canntan, Ct. IT is a "barn" which is actually much nicer than the Rogan Residence, a pool house which uses a half ton more cooling than my house (a ton of colling is 12,000 BTU's) and a garage that I have not seen plans for yet but i assume is super nice as well.

So I was working on that most of the day at work was pretty good day, we have a broker come in and talk about recommendations for our 401k plans. Tomorrow should be a good day as well, I have stuff to keep me busy now and we are having another "lunch and learn" one of the things were people come in at lunch and give us lunch to listen to what they have to sell. So far all the lunches have been very good. Tomorrow we are going to learn about LED's. I go to all the luncheons even the non-mechanical ones, I couldn't tell you why everyone doesn't lol how can you go wrong even if it is boring just sit there and eat even tho usually pretty interesting.

POTD:

This is a picture of a giant rainbow while i was going up my driveway. Second big one I have seen this week. Do you see a lot of rainbows in the rain forest Ben?

Subbi's Big Day

Subaru got washed and waxed today as well basic safety checks. Just out of curiously how many of my readers have ever waxed their own vehicle?

Nice and clean.

Nice clean backside.

Look at all that disk brake rust already :(

New license plate cover installed, now smartest car in the house.

Very nice clean view.

The 7 rags used during waxing and the one towel used during the hand drying.

Looks like license plate would do well versus speed camera.

Oxygen sensor chip on intake after the super clean air filter.

A nice tire pressure reading in digital macro.

Fluids all checked out good.

Still Buoyant

Been busy since the last post but going to try to sum up things fast.

Thursday played softball did a little better than last time but still crappy and the team lost :(

Friday we had company picnic it was really good, can't wait for this Friday :) This week was Hawaii theme we had some good marinated chicken, some beef cabobs, tuna fish, some yam things, some little hot does in a fancy sauce, punch, and some really good ice cream i don't even know what kind it was it was orange but was not orange flavored with some really sweet cake. I am sure I am forgetting something but you get the general idea it was all really good. :)

Then Friday night was Casey's first attempt at throwing a party. No one showed up (I was just there cause Ryan invited me Casey never actually invited me.) It was super funny. So he changed the party to Saturday night cause no one was coming due to baseball according to Ryan (I was not there) only two people showed up. So that is an average of one person per party that Casey throws.

On Saturday I played baseball till about 3 and did super good I even caught Casey's farthest hit ball :) Then after that I went to Stacia's graduation party/BBQ it was really good. There was like 40 to 50 people there Casey probably should have came to take notes on how to throw a party. There was tons of alcohol. There was margrita's and other fruitly drinks not smoothies though :( and then there were 2 cases (24 bottles) of bud light and 2 cases of PBR and we drank everything or so we thought it turned out in the morning there was a 3rd case of PBR stashed away that no one found. That might not seem like a lot of alcohol with 40 to 50 people but most of the people were not drinking. We played whiffle ball, badminton, and beer pong I did good in all untill I started getting drunk as usual. Actually I never did good at whiffle ball cause i was pretty gone by the time we started playing. Then around 12 i drove myself after i had stopped drinking for a while i drove myself to toca bell via some very bad directions form staica i actually gave up trying to find it and was trying to back when i did find it anyway it was super good.

Finally I will end of food of the day segment since I never was even offered and advice. I drank about 30 beers in the last 3 days I assume it if stopped that every week maybe i would lose weight and i have been eating a lot of chinse food which can't help. But as one segment falls a new one rises up to take its place. I finally got my camera on Friday so now let me introduce the picture of the day segment (POTD). Where I will post one picture a day with a caption.

POTD:
This picture from this morning is of people looking at where Stacia's drunk Dad fell though the door it was unbelievably funny, though Stacia was pretty embarrassed. And in case you were wondering Steve yes the door did get fixed shortly after this.
